  Firstly, the move was estimated to take 4-5 hours but took longer than expected (8 hours) and thus was not properly estimated. We paid a considerable amount for the move and we were not going to pay $105 an hour for movers to watch us verify all our goods when we could not even move in the condo for the amount of boxes and furniture. I think this is an unreasonable expectation from you.

  We paid the deposit with the contract and the balance on the day of the move and you cashed the cheques as soon as possible, unfortunately , we learn that is where your service stops.

  I am shocked at how unprofessional JMR has been. They were contracted to move goods to the US. They set up a day and time for delivery and throughout that day we called and they said they were close by. They showed up the next day at noon and then REFUSED to assemble any of the furniture. They dumped everything quickly , forced my son to give them a credit card and left. Now there is "no one" at the office to speak to. They are all "out of the office". Clearly they are not honest, nor trustworthy

  I am definitely disappointed at your response. I have had my dining room furniture and other furniture for many years with no scratches or dents until this move. I also do not know how you can evaluate damage based solely on pictures, these were taken by us asap and were meant to be used just to notify you, we expected you to send someone to check the damage. You never sent anybody but hid behind your contract.

  I am sure you can understand that a moving day especially going from a house to a condo can be very hectic and stressful . Even if you watch the movers you cannot check every piece of furniture and every item. It is only at the end when everyone is gone that you start to place items and check and you notice broken/damaged pieces.

  My daughter used this company to move. Movers were slow, stalled with useless conversation, perpetual breaks and drove 20km / hour on the highway to drag out the move time as much as possible. My daughter paid for insurance and the extra time it took to pack certain items in conformity with the insurance requirements. Nevertheless things were broken. When we called to report the damage, instead of apologizing and repairing / replacing broken items they screamed at my daughter on the phone and hung up on her. Do not work with these people. They are horrible.

  Great moving experience with this company. The three guys we got introduced themselves the moment they arrived, a nice personal touch. They got right to work and didn't stop until the truck was loaded. We were moving things from two different locations, about 35 km apart, into one location. The whole move took less than four hours, working at a pretty quick pace, I thought. I highly recommend them.
